Season 20 Accolades!
I know I am VERY late with these, but without further ado I would like to introduce the Season 20 Accolade winners!
Major:
Regular Season MVP: Kiro
What can be said about Kiro that hasn’t already been said. He is consistently an impact player no matter what he is doing, and you already know that when he is teaming with friends that he will have fun and do what he does best. With 1.39 GPG 0.67 APG and 1.77 SPG this was the obvious choice.
Rookie of the Season: 1TapStephen
1TapStephen came into the league and put up 0.95 GPG 0.69 APG and an astounding 1.92 SPG. I am excited to see what he does in future seasons.
Most Improved Player: Bdubya
As the tie breaking vote, I found it very difficult choice between him and iTrash, however after I thought about it, Bdubya really proved himself this season. Not only that, but he did so without the MVP Kiro on his team.
Team of the season: Kiro, Arrow, Miro and Avalance.
If you would have told me that these 4 would be the 4 best in Major before the season started I would have 100% believed you, these 4 consistently play insane rocket league.
Playoffs MVP: Lefty
I felt like I had to go with someone from the winning team. From that winning team the obvious choice is Lefty, he not only put up insane stats in the regular season, but then also brought his team all the way through playoffs to beat Kiro stopping Kiro from winning both MVP and Playoffs MVP.
AAA:
Regular season MVP: Marky
Although the Geese didn’t win it all, Marky sure did try his absolute hardest throughout the season in order to get them to the finals. He put up a 1.0 or higher in ALL THREE STAT CATEGORIES. 1.34 GPG, 1.0 APG AND 1.09 SPG. This is why he is deserving of winning MVP.
Rookie of the Season: Marky
It isn’t often that we see an MVP winner also be a rookie, but that is what makes his stats that much more impressive, Marky is going to make his mark on RLPC for seasons to come.
Most Improved Player: Panduh
Panduh isn’t somebody I know a ton about, however when you make it to the semi finals it's obvious that you are doing something right. So keep up the improvement Panduh.
Team of the Season: Tman, marky, Jxkermb and Packers
Marky is racking up these awards at this point, but enough of him. Tman and Packers dropped down from Major this season and oh my they popped off, before the season even started I think everyone wanted Packers, and that was for a reason, and honestly I don’t really know Jxkermb, but he definitely proved why he was a top player in AA last season, putting up very similar stats in an entirely new skill range. He followed up his Double MVP and ROTS performance. Keep up the great work Jxker.
Playoff MVP: Motion
Motion didn’t have a great season by any means, but when it mattered most he provided for his team. Hats off for Motion and I hope to see him play like he is in Playoffs all the time.
At this point I stop knowing these award winners so I wont just lie to yall.
AA:
Regular season MVP: Aylonz
With 1.34 GPG, 0.72 APG and 1.18 SPG, he put up the numbers he needed to and played incredibly. He and his team made it all the way to finals and Won, a massive part of that was Aylonz playing how he did in regular season.
Rookie of the Season: Bruhdder
Also known as Kritiklasm, he got his team to the playoffs, although they did not make it far he still had a great season with some great stats, which could have been an MVP season if they Aylonz didn’t play as well as he did.
Most Improved Player: CLifestyle
Look it's another Bandit! Kritiklasm isn’t the only reason his team made playoffs and CLifestyle played so well and was a great duo to the ROTS.
Team of the Season: Aylonz, Chase, Kayo, GrizzLeGreat
I mean clearly the MVP is going to be here, but GrizzLeGreat was also an amazing player and just off his Playoff performance deserves to be here. Kayo and Chase round out the roster with 2 players that were monumental for their teams. Kayo has been putting up insane numbers since joining the league in season 16. Then his teammate Chase, he had his best season of his RLPC career and proved he belonged. The duos from 2 of the top 4 teams is rare, but it was needed.
Playoff MVP: GrizzLeGreat
I mean he was the reason they made it to finals and won, the duo of Aylonz and GrizzLeGreat were almost unstoppable this season for a reason. Congrats to them 2!
A:
Regular season MVP: FreshTM
That entire Rattlers roster was killing it all season, however if I had to choose 1 to win it would be Fresh, he was a big reason why they were winning at the end of the season.
Rookie of the Season: Quadar
Although I am not too sure if he is even a rookie, he has the rookie tag and is on a 1 of 2 contract so we are going with it. Quasar put up 1.12 GPG and 1.19 SPG, and proved that he was a force on the pitch.
Most Improved Player: FalseFacts
False has always been a big help with news team, but now he is a big help to his team too. He played incredibly all season and deserved to have an award!
Team of the Season: KSU, SimplyAJ, Quadar, FreshTM
Again the MVP is obviously here, and Quadar had the stats to prove he was a top 4 player in A. AJ is also no new face in the accolades, he was a back to back winner and there is a reason for that, he has always been incredible in whatever league he is in. KSU also had an incredible season!
Playoff MVP: Quadar
I mean again, he performed out of his mind in the playoffs and proved he has the ice to win. (something i can't do.)
Indy:
Regular season MVP: RyAndGav
RyAndGav put up 1.54 GPG, 0.89 APG and 1.46 SPG. These stats would be good enough to win EVERY award, unfortunately I can’t just forfeit the other awards to him. The only reason he didn’t get Rookie of the Season is because he didn’t win.
Rookie of the Season: olichoo
Olichoo in his first season put up 1.23 GPG, 1.21 SPG AND won the league, if that isn't enough to get you the rookie of the season award i don’t know what is.
Most Improved Player: ezio
Ezio didn’t have the best introductory season last season, however he improved his stats between seasons and proved he belonged on a team.
Team of the Season: RyAndGav, olichoo, DctGi, Kill
Kill willed his team to playoffs so he deserves to be here. DctGi put up insane numbers all season. One thing I would like to say is that I do believe ALL FOUR players are rookies. Also, MVP and ROTS and Playoff MVP are all Rookies, what an insane performance out of these Indy Rookies.
Playoff MVP: Olichoo
Although I already did speak on him earlier, I would like to just state again that he did this as a rookie and really pulled his entire team forward with him.
GM OF THE SEASON:
This was an extremely close vote. In fact it was just 1 vote apart
In 3rd place with 1 vote. We have Gatman
Gatman came back after his hiatus and proved why he is one of the best GMs to ever GM.
In 2nd place with 4 votes. We have Swift
Swift will always have a special place in my heart for always being a vibe to play with.
And the winner of the GM of the season is BONK! Bonk really did an insane job GMing this season and got half the total votes with 5.
